Appearance: Adolfoi Corydoras boast a striking contrast of colors, with a rich golden-orange body adorned with bold black markings and a distinctive black stripe running horizontally along their side. Their elegant appearance is further accentuated by their streamlined body shape and delicate barbels.
Origin: These captivating catfish hail from the upper Rio Negro basin in Brazil, where they inhabit slow-moving, acidic blackwater streams with sandy or muddy substrates. In the wild, they are often found in small groups, foraging along the bottom for food.
Behavior and Compatibility: Adolfoi Corydoras are peaceful and sociable fish, making them excellent additions to community aquariums. They thrive in small groups and are best kept with other peaceful species that share similar water parameter requirements. They prefer soft, acidic water with a pH range of 6.0 to 7.0 and a temperature between 74-80°F (23-27°C).
