Acclimation:
Temperature Match: Ensure the water in the bag/container your Betta came in is at the same temperature as the tank water.
Float the Bag: Float the sealed bag in the tank for about 15-20 minutes to let the water inside adjust to the tank temperature.
Water Mixing: Gradually add small amounts of tank water to the bag over the next 15-20 minutes to help the Betta adjust to the new water parameters.
Release: Gently net the Betta out of the bag and release it into the tank. Avoid adding the water from the bag into the tank to prevent any diseases from spreading.

Acclimation Guide

Float the Bag: Place the bag with the shrimp in your tank for 20-30 minutes to equalize the temperature.

Drip Acclimation (Recommended):
- Open the bag and transfer the shrimp and water into a small container.
- Use airline tubing to create a slow drip from the tank into the container.
- Adjust the drip rate to 2-4 drops per second.
- Let this process run for 1-2 hours until the water volume in the container has doubled or tripled.

Release: Once acclimation is complete, gently net the shrimp and release them into the tank. Avoid adding the water from the container to your tank.

Monitor: Keep an eye on the shrimp for stress or unusual behavior over the next 24 hours.
Water Parameters:
- pH: 6.5-7.5
- Temperature: 18-24Ā°C (64-75Ā°F)
- GH (General Hardness): 6-8 dGH
- KH (Carbonate Hardness): 2-4 dKH
- TDS (Total Dissolved Solids): 150-250 ppm
Tank Setup:
- Size: Minimum 10 liters (~2.5 gallons) for a colony.
- Substrate: Inert substrates (sand, gravel) or specialized shrimp substrates that buffer pH.
- Filtration: Sponge filters are ideal to avoid shrimp fry getting stuck
