Ramshorn Snails
Product description
Ramshorn Snails — Colorful Algae Eaters in Pink and Blue
Ramshorn Snails (Planorbarius corneus) are eye-catching freshwater snails with flat, spiraled shells available in vibrant pink and blue color morphs. They're peaceful, hardworking algae eaters and detritivores that help keep tanks clean by consuming soft algae, leftover food, and decaying plant matter. Unlike pest snails, they reproduce at a manageable pace and can be easily controlled by feeding habits.
Care Guide
- Tank size: 5 gallons or larger; great for nano and planted tanks
- Water parameters: Temp 70–80°F, pH 7.0–8.0, GH 8–18 (calcium-rich water supports shell health)
- Diet: Omnivore — soft algae, biofilm, leftover food, and decaying plants. Supplement with blanched vegetables and calcium sources for strong shells
- Tankmates: Peaceful with shrimp and community fish. Avoid loaches, pufferfish, assassin snails, and goldfish, which will eat them

Available in Pink and Blue. Random pick — vibrant coloration guaranteed.
