Bloody Mary Neocaridina Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi "Bloody Mary") are prized for their intense, deep red coloration that runs through their translucent body β appearing almost like glowing red glass under aquarium lighting. As a Neocaridina variant, they're hardy, easy to breed, and beginner-friendly, making them one of the most rewarding red shrimp varieties for planted tanks and shrimp colonies.

- Tank size: 5 gallons minimum; group of 10+ recommended for a healthy colony
- Water parameters: Temp 65β78Β°F, pH 6.8β7.5, GH 6β8, KH 2β6
- Diet: Omnivore β biofilm, soft algae, blanched vegetables (spinach, zucchini), and quality shrimp pellets. Avoid copper-based foods and medications
- Tankmates: Peaceful nano fish (chili rasboras, ember tetras, endlers, otocinclus) or shrimp-only tanks. Avoid bettas, angelfish, gouramis, and any predatory species

π Acclimation Guide
- Temperature Match:
Make sure the bag water is close to your tank temperature. - Float the Bag:
Place the sealed bag in your tank for 15β20 minutes. - Water Mixing:
Gradually add small amounts of tank water into the bag over 15β20 minutes. - Release:
Gently net the fish into the tank.
β Do not pour bag water into your tank to avoid contamination.
