Assassin Snails (Clea helena) are the natural, chemical-free solution to pest snail infestations. With their striking yellow-and-brown striped shells, they actively hunt and consume bladder snails, ramshorn snails, Malaysian trumpet snails, and other small pest species — restoring balance to overrun aquariums. Once pest populations are under control, they switch to scavenging leftover food and detritus, never harming live plants or your fish.
Care Guide
- Tank size: 10 gallons or larger; group of 3–6 for effective pest control
- Water parameters: Temp 75–80°F, pH 7.0–8.0, GH 8–18 (hard water supports shell health)
- Diet: Carnivore — pest snails are their preferred food. Once pests are gone, supplement with sinking pellets, bloodworms, and high-protein foods
- Tankmates: Safe with most community fish and live plants. Not safe with shrimp fry or other ornamental snails (mystery, nerite, ramshorn) — they will hunt them too

🐠 Acclimation Guide
- Temperature Match:
Make sure the bag water is close to your tank temperature. - Float the Bag:
Place the sealed bag in your tank for 15–20 minutes. - Water Mixing:
Gradually add small amounts of tank water into the bag over 15–20 minutes. - Release:
Gently net the fish into the tank.
❗ Do not pour bag water into your tank to avoid contamination.
