Overview

Orange Venezuelan Cory (Corydoras aeneus “Venezuela”)

Bright, peaceful, and perfect for planted tanks!

Add a splash of warm orange color to your aquarium with the Orange Venezuelan Cory — a rare and vibrant variant of the classic Bronze Cory. These cheerful little catfish are active scavengers that help keep the bottom of your tank spotless while schooling beautifully together.

✨ Features:

  • Size: Up to 2.5 inches (6 cm)

  • Temperament: Peaceful and social

  • Ideal for: Community and planted tanks

  • Temperature: 72–80°F (22–27°C)

  • pH: 6.0–7.5

  • Diet: Sinking pellets, frozen bloodworms, daphnia, and algae wafers

🌿 Behavior & Care:
Orange Venezuelan Corys are curious, gentle fish that thrive in groups of 5 or more. They constantly sift through the substrate in search of food, helping to aerate the tank floor while adding motion and charm to the bottom level of your aquarium.

💧 Tank Setup Tip:
Provide soft sand substrate, hiding spots with driftwood and plants, and clean, oxygen-rich water. Avoid rough gravel that could damage their barbels. Pair them with peaceful species like tetras, rasboras, and guppies.

Live animals usually ship early in the week to reduce weekend transit delays.
