Overview

Jungle Vallisneria is a classic, fast-growing background plant that instantly adds a lush, natural jungle look to any freshwater aquarium. With long, ribbon-like green leaves, it’s perfect for filling in the back or sides of the tank while providing shelter for fish and fry.

Each 1 portion includes approximately 5 healthy plants, ideal for starting or expanding your planted tank. Jungle Val is extremely hardy and beginner-friendly, making it a great choice for both low-tech and high-tech setups.

Great for:

  • Community tanks

  • Betta, guppy, and nano fish aquariums

  • Natural and jungle-style aquascapes

  • Oxygenation and nitrate absorption

🌿 Short Care Guide – Jungle Vallisneria

  • Tank Size: 10 gallons or larger (recommended)

  • Lighting: Low to medium

  • CO₂: Not required

  • Water Temperature: 68–82°F (20–28°C)

  • pH Range: 6.5 – 8.0

  • Growth Rate: Fast

  • Placement: Background or sides of the tank

Care Tips:

  • Plant the roots gently into the substrate; do not bury the crown

  • Spreads naturally by runners—trim or replant as needed

  • May “melt” slightly after shipping but will bounce back quickly with stable conditions
