About These Bettas
- Tail types: Mix of Halfmoon and Crowntail
- Colors: Mix of purples, pinks, and pastel variations
- Sex: Unsexed juveniles (typically 60–70% female at this age)
- Age: Young grow-outs — final color & finnage develops with age
Care Requirements
- Tank size: Grow-out tank 10+ gallons for groups; sponge filter recommended
- Temperature: 78–82°F (26–28°C) — babies grow faster in warmer water
- pH: 6.5–7.5
- Diet: Crushed pellets, baby brine shrimp, microworms, frozen bloodworms
- Separation: Watch for aggression as they mature — separate males as soon as fins develop
Important: Sorority & Group Notes
Sororities are not guaranteed peaceful — always have backup tanks ready in case individuals need to be separated. Crowntails and halfmoons may grow at different rates.

🐠 Acclimation Guide
- Temperature Match:
Make sure the bag water is close to your tank temperature. - Float the Bag:
Place the sealed bag in your tank for 15–20 minutes. - Water Mixing:
Gradually add small amounts of tank water into the bag over 15–20 minutes. - Release:
Gently net the fish into the tank.
❗ Do not pour bag water into your tank to avoid contamination.
