Water Sprangle
Product description
This Listing: 1 Water Spangles (Salvinia Minima) portion (15-20 plants)
Description: A floating plant for any freshwater aquarium. This is a great option if you don't like the smaller duckweeds which can quickly become unmanageble if left unattended. Like most flaoting plants, this species works as a water purifier as it removes heavy metals, toxins, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrates from the water while producing oxygen. It consumes almost every free nutrient in the tank – giving little opportunity for algae growth. It's dangling roots are a great feeding area and refuge for aquatic animal fry, and can provide shade to areas of the aquarium, which will encourage more reclusive species to come out of hiding. This is a truly beautiful and very beneficial plant for aquariums with gentle water flow. Great plant for beginners to advanced hobbysts.
Size Ranges: 1 portion is approximately 15-20 plants
