Raccoon Tiger Shrimp (Caridina mariae) are a stunning Caridina variety prized for their high-contrast white-and-black banded pattern, resembling a raccoon's tail. - Tank size: 10 gallons or larger; group of 10+ recommended for breeding colonies
- Water parameters: Temp 68–76°F, pH 6.2–7.0, GH 4–6, KH 0–2 (soft, slightly acidic water preferred)
- Diet: Omnivore — biofilm, soft algae, blanched vegetables, and high-quality shrimp pellets. Avoid copper-based foods
- Tankmates: Best in a species-only tank or with peaceful nano fish (chili rasboras, ember tetras, otocinclus). Avoid all medium and large fish

🐠 Acclimation Guide
- Temperature Match:
Make sure the bag water is close to your tank temperature. - Float the Bag:
Place the sealed bag in your tank for 15–20 minutes. - Water Mixing:
Gradually add small amounts of tank water into the bag over 15–20 minutes. - Release:
Gently net the fish into the tank.
